Additional Experience

I am a retired Prison Warden, serving as the Appointing Authority of three prisons, with over 32 years of correctional experience.  While working as a Warden, I attended Ashland Theology Seminary and studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating in December 2019. After saying farewell to the field of corrections, I emerged into the clinical world.  I feel doubly blessed to work in two fields where God has allowed me to help His people find restoration, wholeness, and peace. I have lived in Northeastern Ohio for most of my life, attending undergraduate and graduate schools and raising my children.  In 1999, I became a licensed minister, and in 2002, I received a Certificate of Ordination. Additionally, the State of Ohio also authorizes me to solemnize marriages.  Christian counseling is a passion, but I will work with anyone who walks through my “proverbial door.” I am a doting Mother, Grandmother, and wife. I adore spending time with family and supporting people, my local church, and the community at large.
